- SHOPKEEPERS UPDATED
From the next reboot it is no longer possible to steal from shopkeepers.
This is mainly to prevent people from selling the same item to the shopkeeper
over and over again.

- NEW ZONE ONLINE
A new zone is online, written by Vega. It has a lot of new and unique
features and should be a lot of fun to explore.
You can access the new area from the Warntz area.

- CHANGES MADE TO THE MASTER OF EVIL
You know who we are talking about, and if you don't, you will have no
need for this information anyway. This fellow has been changed in 2 steps. First
he was downgraded a bit, and stripped of his damage spell. This made him a bit
to easy, so now he uses a damage spell again, but he is still less powerful than
before the first modification was made.

The "Dust Devil" spell has been modified to have the same
one-summoned limit as the rest of the summon line spells. This is done in order
to prevent solo'ing of high level mobs.
It is no longer possible to disarm monsters wielding highly magical
weapons. This is done to prevent players from simply disarming a monster and
taking the weapon. You will now have to kill the monster to get the weapon.
That is right. However, it should have none of the weird bugs the old
version had, and it works slightly different from the old version too. The
effect will no longer wear off after a couple of minutes, but if you die, it
disappears instantly.
The wielder of the sword of the hawk has been modified a bit. He should
now be slightly easier to hit, and no longer uses the magic of his sword for
offensive purposes.
Finally we have a stable testsite. If you are building anything you deem
worthy of being put on our testsite, contact Nightshade or Lurk. Note that you
must have a zone ready for compilation before you can get an account on the
testsite.
Stone has decided to take his zones elsewhere. Unfortunatly this is a breach of
the builders agreement, so his zones have been removed from the MUD along with
all items in them.
Players have expressed their concerns that no race are particulary well suited
to be divine based classes anymore. We have added the new "Parnon"
race to compensate for that. These are the practice stats:

The start-rolls for the races have been changed. Elves have always had far superior chances to make good characters, leading to an imbalance in the mud. The new rolls should readdress this
imbalance in time.
